I went through the first season last night and I’m looking to start season two tonight. I knew this would happen… I don’t have time for this!

Basically, Frank Gallagher should have stayed in Canada. He is such an ugly character to me, and I don’t mean physically. I realize that he’s supposed to be a shameless jerk, but he’s got absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever that make me want to give him the time of day. Right now I have hard time seeing how I’ll ever find anything about him even remotely funny. I’m only one season in, so… I don’t know, I mean, he’s not even one of those characters that love to hate. I don’t care for him at all and find him and his storylines tedious. I want to fast forward through most of his scenes and will probably do just that if things don’t change.
But, oh, I love most everyone else. My heart is breaking for practically everyone and I adore every single one of the Gallagher kids. I love Fiona – omg Fiona – and Lip and Ian and… and I am so primed and ready for Ian and Mickey that it’s not even funny. Loving it.
I’m definitely digging the show so far. I really enjoy the characters and have already given my heart over to a few of them, which is the key factor for me when it comes to sticking with something (looking at you, Winchesters).
Oh my goodness, I need more!
